Dive in. Kick off. and Play Ball! - Ducklinks is dreaming of spring and all the activities to help us shake out those feathers and spring into action.

It's time to get our ducks in a row for a season of fun. And in the spirit of saving time, we've done some of the searching for you. In this blog post, we've put together a list of local, youth sports and activities to take a quack at. Let's get those ducklings moving!

City of Greenville Parks & Recreation

RECREATION CHEER & TUMBLE • SOCCER

[ RECREATION CHEER & TUMBLE ]

Ages 5 to 11 - In partnership with the Upstate Cheer Academy (UCA) and led by certified coaches, this program is designed to help children develop skills in basic tumble training, cheer stunts, game chants, cheer jumps, cheer motions, and cheer dance. This is a non-competitive performance cheer program and no experience is needed.

  • Beginner (Ages 5 to 9) - Mondays, 5:15 PM to 6:30 PM

    • March 3 - April 28, 2025

    • $100 for City Residents

    • $110 for Non-City Residents

  • Intermediate (Ages 7 to 11) - Mondays, 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM

    • March 24 - April 28, 2025

Ages 3 to 6 - Kick off some fun with the City of Greenville’s 4U and 6U Spring Soccer programs, designed for little ones to learn the basics of the sport, make friends and enjoy the game in a fun and supporting environment.

  • 4U Mini Strikers - Mondays, 5:45 PM to 6:30 PM

    • March 24 - April 28, 2025

    • $50 for Non-City Residents

  • 6U Junior Strikers - Thursdays, 5:45 PM to 6:30 PM

    • March 13 - April 8, 2025

Dance Without Limits

DANCE • TAP • BALLET • JAZZ • LYRICAL / CONTEMPORARY • HIP HOP • ACROBATICS

Ages 18 months to 18 years - Where dance is for everyone. Dance Without Limits is a family-friendly, inclusive dance studio offering dance lessons for toddlers, preschoolers, children tweens and teens of all abilities. The studio offers a variety of dance programs, classes, summer camps, performance opportunities and special events.

First Tee - Upstate South Carolina

GOLF

Ages 7 to 14+ - Building Game Changers through junior golf programs. First Tee is a youth developmental organization that integrates the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, creating active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence and resilience.

Goldfish Swim School

SWIM

Ages 4 months to 12 years old - Teach your child how to swim, float and tread water successfully with Goldfish Swim School's expert swim instructors and indoor swim lessons. Class sizes are capped off at 4 students, to allow for optimal progress, boosted confidence, and increased safety. Lessons are designed to make learning fun through guided play for beginners to advanced swimmers.

  • Ages 4 to 35 months - Mini (Baby)

  • Ages 3 to 4 years - Junior (Beginner - Intermediate)

  • Ages 4 to 12 years - Glider (Beginner - Intermediate)

Soccer Shots

SOCCER

Soccer skills, a character building curriculum and a whole lot of FUN - Soccer Shots is a an engaging children's soccer program taught by fully-trained coaches. The franchise offers three core programs (Mini, Classic and Premier) designed to teach the right skills at the right age, meeting the developmental needs of each age group.

  • Spring 2025 - Soccer Season with Soccer Shots (March - May 2025)

    • Ages 2 to 8 - Soccer skills, a character building curriculum and a whole lot of FUN. Weekly programs are conveniently offered at various dates, times and convenient public/park locations including: The Kroc Center, Holland Park, Runway Cafe, Easley Soccer Club, Bells Crossing Elementary, Neely Farms and more.
